Personal Highlights

Sydney Montgomery, FNP-C is a native Georgian. Born and raised in Marietta, she has always had a passion for women’s and obstetrical healthcare. She attended Mercer University where she pursued her bachelor’s degree in Nursing and immediately began her career at Northside Gwinnett as a Labor and Delivery Nurse. She spent the next 6.5 years at bedside, during which time she had the privilege of helping hundreds of families navigate the birthing process and bring their babies earthside.

In 2020, she decided to return to school to further her education to better
benefit her patients. She received her Master’s in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from The University of Alabama at Birmingham where she graduated with honors. During her time as a license practitioner, Sydney has gained experience in both general obstetrics & gynecology, as well as a specialized maternal/fetal medicine practice. These experiences have helped make her a more well-rounded provider.

Sydney joined Women’s Group of Gwinnett in 2022 and is happy to be home with a group of providers that she has known since the beginning of her career. She finds great joy in the ability to treat and educate women across the different stages in their life about just how amazing and capable their bodies are. She currently resides in Duluth, GA with her husband where, in her free time, she can be found starting DIY projects around the house or planning another trip to Disney World.
